For my photographer recreation and research project, I decided to do my project about Duane Michals. He is one of the greatest innovators of the last century, widely known for his work with series, multiple exposures, and text. https://www.dcmooregallery.com/artists/duane-michals
The process of recreating this photo had many small details that I had to pay attention to (Ryleigh) with the right spacing from the length and width of the original portrait. I also had to play around with the lighting of Ryleigh having a darker tone on her face than the background. After taking the portrait I turned it b&w and when into photoshop where I had to overlap the photo four times and match the sizing of each layer. After I decided to add some drop shadows to help pop the images on top of each other to also add my own touch to my recreation photo. My last step was to add the writing at the bottom of my subjects name and my own. I had to try and add that doodle/free hand font to Ryleigh's name then make mine look more professional by doing my signature instead.
